Africa Africa, second biggest of Earth's seven mainlands, covering 23 percent of the world's complete land region and containing 13 percent of the total populace. Africa rides the equator and the greater part of its territory exists in the tropics. It is limited by the Atlantic Ocean on the west, the Indian Ocean and Red Sea on the east, and the Mediterranean Sea on the north. In the northeastern corner of the landmass, Africa is associated with Asia by the Sinai Peninsula.Africa is a place where there is incredible assorted variety.
